When you read my latest short story Animals in the Garden in this month’s issue of Joyland Magazine, if your memory reaches as far back as this old blog post, you might say to yourself, What’s with this girl and chickens? 

But I promise you this time there are also goats, bulls, horses, and many many sheep (some more fortunate than others), and one very crafty donkey.

Tying it all together is a little girl with an overactive imagination and a strange appetite for…well, I’ll let you find out.
